ASO®-PG: New armoured fabric for the assured renovation of critical substrates

ASO-PG, a high-performance armoured fabric, which has been specially developed for reinforcing challenging substrates, is available immediately. For interiors and exteriors – on walls and floors

The fabric can be used on heated as well as unheated areas, interior and exterior areas and on walls and floors. In combination with trowelable or self-levelling smoothing compounds, ASO-PG forms a non-static reinforcement, that reduces stresses within the floor construction and improves the longevity of the finish.

Problem solver for existing difficult substrates

Especially within existing structures, where it is frequently necessary to work with unstable or heterogenous substrates, ASO-PG offers a sustainable solution – for example on timber, pressure resistant hardcore or screeds in need of restoration. Even with retrospectively channelled underfloor heating, the fabric reliably protects against crack formation in tile or natural stone finishes.

Stability despite low build-up heights

The structure providing function of the fabric contributes towards an increase in flexural strength and noticeably reduces the risk of cracking. Thanks to its minimal thickness, ASO-PG is also suitable for thin-layer floor construction – without additional construction height and without demolition of the existing substrate.
