SCHOMBURG at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas

From the 18-21 January 2011 SCHOMBURG presented itself together with its American partner AQUAFIN Inc. once again this year at the "World of Concrete" in Las Vegas, once of the most important exhibitions for the construction industry worldwide.

The exhibition was all about the new DECORFLEX coating. This innovative system, which is based on AQUAFIN-2K/M combines decorative floor and wall designs and their almost boundless design possibilities with the outstanding waterproof properties of AQUAFIN-2K/M. For the first time in the 10 years that SCHOMBURG and AQUAFIN Inc. have been exhibiting at the World of Concrete, they used a second stand in the open air area. The DECORFLEX demonstrations awoke so much interest that in the end more exhibition contacts were generated in the external area than from the main stand in the hall which was nearly three times as big. The sunny weather possibly had its part to play too.

In addition to the presentation of SCHOMBURG/AQUAFIN innovations many good Latin American contacts were made. Sometime this year expansion is planned into this region. The search for a suitable production location for transport intensive bulk products has already started. A complete set of documentation in Spanish with the necessary product certification is being produced in parallel to this activity.
