Preparing the surface 1. Calcium sulphate screeds must be roughened and vacuumed. 2. Prime calcium sulphate screeds with ASO-Unigrund-S. 3. A moisture measurement must be carried out using the CM method to assess whether it is ready to receive. 4. Weak or adhesion inhibiting layers must be brushed off mechanically, sanded, milled or shot blasted.

Technical data sheet ASO®-Unigrund-S Application Application 1. Stir well before use. 2. Use undiluted on non-absorbent substrates (e.g. old tiled finishes). 3. Dilute 1:1 with water for absorbent substrates. 4. Apply ASO®-Unigrund-S evenly and thinly with a foam or lamb’s wool roller in a criss-cross pattern. 5. Tiles and boards can be laid on absorbent substrates as soon as ASO®-Unigrund-S has dried on the surface – approx. 15 minutes – and is dry to handle. 6. Further processing is only possible once it is completely dry on non-absorbent substrates. Drying time approx. ¾ of an hour. 7. If using in exterior areas, ASO®-Unigrund-S must be protected by bonded waterproofing in combination with tiled finishes under ceramic coatings, e.g. AQUAFIN®-2K/M-PLUS.
Cleaning tools Clean tools immediately after use with suitable solvent.
Storage conditions Storage Store in a frost-free, cool and dry place. At min. 5 - 40 °C for 15 months in the original canister. Promptly use opened container.
Emission behaviour / building certification systems Very low emissions in accordance with GEV-EMICODE, which normally results in positive evaluations within the scope of building certification systems in accordance with DGNB, LEED, BREEAM, HQE. Suitable for indoor use in accordance with the French VOC Directive and Belgian Royal Decree C-2014/24239.
Notes Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of ASO®-Unigrund-S! Clean splashes immediately with water.
