Measures for substrate preparation 1. Substrate preparations must be carried out in compliance with DIN EN 14879-1:2005, 4.2 et.seq. 2. We recommend preparing the substrate by grinding with a diamond grinder or shot blasting.

Technical data sheet ASO®-RSG Application As a reinforcing layer 1. Cut ASO®-RSG to the appropriate length. 2. Lay the material out and place the fabric without wrinkles into the upper third of the reinforcement layer and rework it. 3. When used in renovation plaster systems, the plaster coverage is approx. 5 mm. 4. The overlap of individual fabric panels in cementitious mortar systems is 10 cm.
Application 1. Surface irregularities, holes and damaged areas with ASOCRET-M30 or EP mortar (ASODUR-SG3-thix and quartz sand Ø0.5-1.0 mm in a ratio of 6:25 parts by weight). 2. Apply the RD-SK50 self-adhesive edging strips to the wall-floor transition and the rising building components in advance. 3. Cut ASO®-RSG to the appropriate length. 4. Place fabric strips onto the prepared substrate with the printed side facing up. Maintain a gap of at least 3 cm to rising building components. 5. Overlap the ends of the strips by at least 20 mm. 6. Coat the surface with ASODUR®-SG3-thix. Apply the coating evenly using a rubber lip squeegee and nylon roller. (Consumption: approx. 0.8 1.0 kg/m²) 7. Roll over the surface again and level it. 8. Sprinkle the still wet layer evenly with excess fire-dried quartz sand (ø 0.5–1.0 mm). (consumption: 2.0 - 2.5 kg/m²) 9. After 12 hours, sweep and vacuum away all excess quartz sand. 10. Overcoat the surface with ASOCRET-HFF as a wearing surface (minimum layer thickness: > 5.0 mm) 11. For a uniform surface appearance, rework the cured layer of ASOCRET-HFF with ASODUR®-V360W in the desired colour. 12. Seal existing expansion and/or connecting joints with INDUFLEX-PU.
Storage conditions Storage Cool, dry, protected from sunlight. Min. 24 months in the original canister. Do not store in the open.
Notes ASO®-RSG may not be glued or overcoated afterwards with products containing solvents. A joint overlap of more than 20 mm results in increased material consumption. Visible overlap areas have no influence on the functionality of the coating and do not constitute a defect. Expansion joints may not be overcoated. Fill larger cracks in advance to prevent subsequent layers from flowing away. Construction-related cracks with completed deformation must be sealed in advance with a force-fitting reactive resin. Otherwise, provide expansion joints. Observe the technical data sheets of the products mentioned before starting work.
