Preparing the surface 1. Check the substrate and determine the residual moisture content using the CM method. 2. Remove impurities, adhesion-reducing substances and binder accumulations/laitance layers. 3. Prime absorbent substrates with ASO-Unigrund-GE, ASO-Unigrund-K or ASO-Unigrund-PLUS. 4. Prime non-absorbent substrates with ASO-Unigrund-S or ASO-Unigrund-PLUS.
Application Laid on wooden substrates or bound fill (vertical surface load ≤ 2.0 kN/m², point load ≤ 2.0 kN in accordance with DIN EN 1991-1) 1. Prepare the substrate according to the substrate requirements. 2. Apply the RD-SK50 self-adhesive edging strips to the wall-floor transition and the rising building components in advance. 3. Cut to fit ASO-PG. Overlap the joint areas by at least 10 cm and place them on the substrate. 4. Pour SOLOPLAN-30-PLUS over ASO-PG. Check height and levelness of surface. Observe the minimum dry layer thickness of 15 mm on wooden substrates and 25 mm on bound fill of the SOLOPLAN-30-PLUS. 5. Tiles and boards can be laid as soon as SOLOPLAN-30-PLUS is walkable. Decouple constructions on wooden substrates with SANIFIN-EKB.

Technical data sheet ASO®-PG As a reinforcing layer 1. Prepare the substrate according to the substrate requirements. 2. Cut to fit ASO-PG. 3. Apply SCHOMBURG tile adhesive or SOLOCRET-60 levelling compound to the substrate using a notched trowel (8 mm). 4. Mix ASO-PG into the fresh SCHOMBURG tile adhesive or the stable levelling compound SOLOCRET-60. The joint area must overlap by at least 10cm. 5. Apply ASO-PG using a flat trowel. 6. Tiles and boards can be laid as soon as the SCHOMBURG tile adhesive or SOLOCRET-60 is walkable according to the relevant TM.

Notes Requirements for the constructions, the necessary compressive and flexural strengths, static properties and other criteria must be checked, planned and specified by a planner before work begins. Installation can be carried out on ‘green’ calcium sulphate screeds up to a residual moisture content of max. 1.2 CM-% in combination with the primer ASO-Unigrund-PLUS and the tile adhesive MONOFLEX-S2. Planar substrates such as wooden beam constructions must be firmly screwed. Direct contact with metals such as copper, zinc, and aluminium must be avoided by means of a pore sealed primer. A pore-sealed primer is produced via 2 application steps using ASODUR-GBM (see technical data sheet). Border, field and movement joints should be carried over to the designated location; suitable means such as RD-SK50 edging strips should be used to detach them! Crack control joints must be closed with a force fit or secured against height differences. Observe the technical data sheets of the products mentioned and the laying instructions from the surface coating’s manufacturer! Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of the system adhesive or the bonded waterproof systems! ASO-PG may not be glued or overcoated afterwards with products containing solvents.
Relevant regulations Planning, inspection of substrates and building site circumstances, laying, grouting and subsequent care of the work must be done in accordance with the relevant DIN standards and recognised rules of technology (e.g. the ZDB Data sheets of the Zentralverband Deutsches Baugewerbe e.V.(German construction Association) in the latest version.
