Technical data sheet ASO®-R008 Application Application 1. Remove oil crusts mechanically or by means of HP equipment. 2. Carry out mechanical substrate preparation, e.g. shot blasting. 3. ASO®-R008 is supplied as a concentrate and is diluted (depending on the intended use, see table) with tap water. 4. Spray the diluted ASO®-R008 onto the surface to be cleaned. 5. After a short exposure time, work the sprayed surface with a scrubbing brush in a criss-cross pattern until a brownish colour appears. 6. Allow the treated surface to rest for approx. 10 minutes. 7. Scrub again thoroughly. 8. Thoroughly rinse the cleaned surface with clear water (60 to 80 °C). 9. Clean the rinsed surface with a wet vacuum cleaner. 10. Check cleaned areas for residual oil (repeat cleaning if necessary). 11. Apply the special primer.
Storage conditions Storage Store in a frost-free, cool and dry place. At min. 10 - 50 °C for 5 years in the original canister. Promptly use opened container.
Disposal Product residues can be disposed of in accordance with disposal code AVV 08 04 10.
Notes Protect surfaces that are not to be treated from the effects of ASO®-R008! For the cleaning of larger connected areas, specialist companies are used, which operate with the appropriate equipment. The Technical Service department of SCHOMBURG GmbH will be happy to assist in these cases. ASO®-R008 is classified in accordance with the German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances (GefStoffV). Observe the technical data sheets of the products mentioned before starting work. Applications that have not been clearly mentioned in this technical data sheet may only be carried out after the technical service department of SCHOMBURG GmbH has been consulted, and after the said department has approved of such a course of action in writing.
